The third component of Satake
USA Inc. is the cereal milling operation. Even though
this operation is the "youngest" of the three component
operations organized under the Satake USA Inc. banner,
it is actually represents the oldest equipment design
endeavor.
Henry Simon Ltd. (the predecessor company to the
Satake USA Inc. flour milling operation) commissioned
the first complete, non-American-origin flour mill
to be constructed in America in 1956. However, the
British company itself dates back to 1878.
